Purgatory Golf Club

Noblesville, IN

Purgatory Golf Club is a links-style public course north of Indianapolis in Noblesville, Indiana, designed by Ron Kern and opened in 2000 on 218 acres of largely open land. From the tips it plays 7,754 yards to a par of 72, with a 78.1 course rating and 142 slope. More than 130 bunkers filled with crushed limestone line the fairways, and tall prairie grass borders much of the rough. The par-3 17th is an island green surrounded by roughly two acres of sand. Six sets of tees run from 7,754 down to about 4,562 yards.
