Herons Glen Golf & Country Club

North Fort Myers, FL

Herons Glen Golf & Country Club sits within a gated residential community of about 1,300 homes in North Fort Myers, Florida, just south of the Charlotte County line. The 18-hole championship course was originally designed by Ron Garl and was redesigned by Garl again in 2021 as part of a renovation. The par 72 layout offers six sets of tees ranging from about 4,225 to 6,468 yards, giving a range of playing lengths for different skill levels. The Herons Glen Recreation District, formed in 1998, oversees the community's recreational amenities including the golf course. The club is a semi-private facility with resident membership programs alongside public and resident non-member play, a large practice range, putting green, and chipping area.
