Indio, CA

Indio Golf Course, also known as Indio Golf Club and The Lights at Indio Golf Course, is a city-owned municipal course in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley. It is the only night-lighted golf course in the valley, sitting on relatively flat terrain typical of the desert floor. The course was built in 1964, designed by Lawrence Hughes, with Bermuda grass fairways and greens. It underwent a renovation effort in the mid-2000s that reshaped some holes into a mix of par 3s and par 4s. The course is open to the public and operated through the City of Indio's parks system. Practice facilities include a putting green and pro shop, with the course notable for allowing evening play under lights.
