The Legends Golf Resort: Parkland

Myrtle Beach, SC

Parkland is the tree-lined member of the three-course Legends Golf Resort complex in Myrtle Beach. Opened in 1992, the par-72 layout contrasts with Heathland's open links character and Moorland's more severe shaping. Contoured fairways, natural areas, deep-faced bunkers and large multi-level greens reward placement and thoughtful approaches rather than simple length. Highlanders Double Eagle Tavern is the main-clubhouse stop for Parkland, Heathland and Moorland, serving breakfast and lunch with a full bar and televisions. The separate Ailsa Pub is a Scottish-inspired evening gathering place in the resort's Turnberry Park neighborhood.
