Gypsum Creek Golf Course
Gypsum, CO
Gypsum Creek Golf Course, a Pete Dye design, is nestled in the scenic Gypsum Valley, offering a challenging 18-hole championship experience. Dye's design philosophy is evident in the course's ability to beguile golfers with splendid natural scenery and a touch of deception, integrating seamlessly with the steep, sage-covered mesa terrain. The signature 15th hole stands out as a daunting par-5, exceeding 550 yards from the back tees and rarely reached in two due to prevailing winds. Throughout the course, steep drop-offs and tough angles are common, with the Gypsum Creek winding its way through the layout. Originally opened as Cotton Ranch Golf Club in 1997, it was acquired by the Town of Gypsum in 2010, becoming a fully public facility. Golfers are treated to spectacular views of the Red Table Mountains and enjoy the longest golf season in the Eagle Valley, making it a highly recommended play.
