Springdale Resort in Canton sits in the mountains with views of Cold Mountain. Joseph Holmes designed the par-72 course, which opened in 1968 and stretches past 7,000 yards. The front nine climbs through steep mountain holes and the back nine flattens out in the valley. The resort has lodging, the Rocky Face Tavern and a range, and takes outside play.
