Port Isabel, TX

South Padre Island Golf Club occupies low-lying ground along the Laguna Madre near Port Isabel, at the southern tip of the Texas coast. Chris Cole and Stephen Caplinger designed it and it opened in 1997, threading coastal wetlands and native brush. Gulf wind is a constant, and the exposure defines scoring more than any hazard does. Bermuda greens and generous fairways keep it playable at 6,931 yards and a par of 72. It is the main 18-hole course serving the South Padre and lower Rio Grande Valley market.

Cypress, TX

BlackHorse Golf Club is a 36-hole semi-private facility in Cypress, northwest of Houston, with the North and South courses both designed by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. The South Course opened in 2000 and the North in 2001, each playing to roughly 7,200 yards from the tips through wetlands, lakes and stands of mature oak and pine. The club has hosted U.S. Open qualifying and is a regular stop for Houston-area competitive golf.

Truckee, CA

The Golf Club at Gray's Crossing is an 18-hole, par-72 resort course in Truckee, California, designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy. It measures 7,466 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 74.3 and a slope of 140. The layout sits in a high mountain meadow beneath Mt. Rose, with tall Jeffrey pines, native wetlands, and views of the High Sierras. It is a sister course to Old Greenwood at Tahoe Mountain Club.

Cle Elum, WA

Prospector Golf Course is an 18-hole course at Suncadia Resort near Cle Elum, Washington, in the Cascade foothills. It was the first course at the 54-hole resort, opened in 2004 and designed by the Palmer Course Design Company, founded by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The course is set within a pine and fir forest with strategically placed lakes and ponds, and rolling, well-bunkered fairways create risk and reward options for stronger players while remaining playable for beginners. The 10th hole drops about 125 feet in elevation from tee to landing area with views of the Cascade Range. Greens on the course are known for subtle, difficult-to-read breaks. Prospector operates as a resort course, open to the public and resort guests, with a golf shop and practice range. It plays to a par of 72 and measures 7,112 yards from the championship tees.

The Lakes Course at Genoa Lakes Golf Club in Genoa is one of two courses at the facility in the Carson Valley. The layout plays over rolling terrain with water in play and Sierra views, a scenic course open to the public.

Genoa, NV

The Ranch Course at Genoa Golf Club is one of two 18-hole courses operated by Genoa Golf Club in the Carson Valley area near Genoa, Nevada, about two miles from the club's separate Lakes Course. The Ranch cuts into the foothills of the Sierra Nevada with wide-open holes and high desert views. The course was designed by Johnny Miller and John Harbottle III and opened in 1998. It plays up to about 7,359 yards from the back tees, with more than 300 feet of elevation change and over 100 bunkers across the layout, along with a waterfall feature. After a period of maintenance work, the Ranch Course has reopened and is available to both Genoa Golf Club members and the general public, with tee times booked through the pro shop or online.
