Mill Creek Golf Course

Citronelle, AL

Mill Creek Golf Course is a public 18-hole course in Citronelle, Alabama, owned and operated by the city. The course was designed by Jim Green and sits amid piney woods dotted with dogwood trees, skirted by a roughly 100-acre lake. From the back tees it plays about 6,271 yards to a par of 72, with a slope near 126. The layout is walkable and includes a lighted driving range, a stocked pro shop, and a clubhouse cafe. Recent reviewers describe the course as scenic but note that conditions have varied over the years under city management. Located on Lakeview Drive, Mill Creek is open most of the week except Mondays, drawing local golfers and visiting groups. It remains one of the area's longstanding public golf facilities along Alabama's Gulf Coast.
