Arcadia, CA

Santa Anita Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in Arcadia, California, operated for the Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation. The property was once part of the Lucky Baldwin Ranch and later served as the site of a U.S. Army balloon school during World War I. The course was originally designed by architect James Harrison Smith and has operated as a county-run public golf facility since the mid-twentieth century, currently managed by Strato Partners on behalf of Los Angeles County. It offers rolling fairways and mature trees set beneath views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Santa Anita is open to the public with tee times bookable online, and reservations can be made up to eight days in advance. The facility includes a driving range, pro shop and a grill for golfers and visitors.
