From the back tees it plays 6,914 yards at a par of 72, with a course rating of 73.5 and a slope of 146. The layout crosses wetlands, three lakes, and stretches of the Chippewa River, with ten sets of tees ranging down to 5,073 yards. The 18,000-square-foot clubhouse has a dining room, lounge, and banquet space. An 18-hole grass putting course sits on an island between the clubhouse and the third green.

Goodyear, AZ

Golf Club of Estrella is a daily-fee course in Goodyear, Arizona, laid out at the foot of the Sierra Estrella Mountains southwest of Phoenix within the master-planned Estrella community. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus II, working under the Nicklaus Design name, and opened in 1999 on land originally developed by Charles Keating before a change in ownership brought in the Nicklaus design team. The layout follows the natural contours of the desert site, incorporating native washes, hillsides, and Sonoran Desert vegetation rather than reshaping the terrain. Elevated tees offer views across the surrounding mountains, and large, moderately contoured greens reward accurate approach play across a variety of hole lengths. Golf Club of Estrella operates as a public, daily-fee facility managed by Troon, with a golf shop and restaurant on site. It sits roughly 30 to 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix and is regularly included among the state's notable public courses.

Aberdeen, NC

Legacy Golf Links is a public course in Aberdeen, North Carolina, in the Sandhills region near Pinehurst and Southern Pines, designed by the Nicklaus Design team under Jack Nicklaus II and opened in 1991. The routing runs through rolling terrain shaded by tall longleaf pines and is built around five lakes, with water coming into play on several holes. The par-72 course plays to about 7,018 yards from the back tees and includes four par 3s of varying length. Its 18th hole, nicknamed The Bear, is a closing hole regarded locally as one of the area's strongest finishes. Legacy hosted the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship in 2000 and underwent a greens renovation in 2011. In 2024 the course joined Talamore Golf Resort as its third property, which brought bunker rebuilding, new cart paths and changes to two closing holes. It remains open to public play.
