Kalona Golf Course

Kalona, IA

Kalona Golf Course is a nine-hole semi-private club about 1.5 miles south of Kalona in southeast Iowa, roughly 20 miles south of Iowa City. Built in its current routing in the 1980s to a design by Edward Lockie, the course plays to a par of 36 over rolling, partly tree-lined terrain with two ponds in play. The club welcomes public golfers alongside members; players register in the clubhouse before teeing off, and tee times can be booked by phone or online. The course has bentgrass greens and a mix of bluegrass and winter rye fairways.
