Saddlebrook Resort (Saddlebrook)

Wesley Chapel, FL

The Saddlebrook Course is one of two 18-hole golf courses at Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida, north of Tampa. Both resort courses were designed by Arnold Palmer, and the resort itself has operated since 1981. The course runs through cypress, pine and palm trees typical of the area, with rolling fairways and wilderness sections bordering several holes. It plays to a par of 70 across 18 holes. Saddlebrook operates its two courses together as a resort golf facility used by hotel guests, resort members and the golf academy on site, with tee times available through the resort's golf shop.

Hidden Creek Golf Club

Navarre, FL

The Club at Hidden Creek is an 18-hole course in Navarre, Florida, on Florida's Panhandle, laid out over rolling terrain with lush landscaping uncommon for the flat coastal region. Designed by Ron Garl and opened in 1988, the course plays to a par of 72 across roughly 6,823 yards from the back tees, with water hazards coming into play throughout and greens that are well guarded by bunkers. Several practice areas, including a driving range and putting green, support play. The club describes itself as a public course, and it requires golfers to check in at the pro shop, follow a dress code and observe cart path rules on all par-3 holes. Tee times can be cancelled or changed by calling ahead.

Bear Slide Golf Club sits in Cicero, Indiana, in Hamilton County about 30 miles north of Indianapolis. Opened in 1989, the course splits into a Scottish links-style front nine and a wooded, traditional back nine, with a creek running through several closing holes and elevation change notable for the region. From the back tees it plays 6,998 yards at a par of 71. The course is open to public play with online tee time booking, a pro shop and PGA instruction. A grass driving range, chipping area and putting green support practice before a round, and carts are available; walking is permitted.
