Bellevue Golf Course

Bellevue, WA

Bellevue Golf Course is an 18-hole public course in the Bridle Trails area of Bellevue, Washington, owned by the City of Bellevue and operated by Premier Golf Centers. It opened in 1968 and was designed by architect David W. Kent. The course measures 6,013 yards from the blue tees with a course rating of 68.4 and slope of 117, and plays tougher than its yardage suggests due to tree-lined fairways, firm greens, subtle elevation changes and strategic bunkering. Five sets of tees accommodate different skill levels, and the layout is considered easy to walk with short distances between greens and tees. The course is open year-round to the public and includes a heated, lighted driving range that opened in 2015, practice putting and chipping areas, a golf shop and the Bellevue Grill restaurant.

Gallery Golf Course

Oak Harbor, WA

Gallery Golf Course is located on Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, Washington, with views across the Strait of Juan de Fuca toward the Olympic Mountains. The course began in 1948-49 as a six-hole layout called Rocky Point, built at the urging of base commander Capt. Bill Gallery for his wife, an avid golfer. It was expanded to nine holes and then to a full 18 by 1954, and was later renamed Gallery Golf Course in the couple's honor. Although it sits on Navy property, Gallery has been open to public play for many years alongside military patrons, and it offers a driving range, pro shop and men's and women's golf associations.
