Chalet Hills Golf Club

Cary, IL

Chalet Hills Golf Club is a public course in Cary, Illinois, built on land that was once a private retreat before opening as a course in the 1960s. New ownership took over in 1986 and hired architect Ken Killian to rebuild the layout between 1992 and 1995. The Killian redesign produced a par-73 course, unusual for the region, with elevation changes carved from moraine terrain, bent-grass fairways and greens, and several lakes and ponds worked into the routing. The club is open to public play with a driving range, practice green, and a clubhouse restaurant. From the longest tees the course measures roughly 6,877 yards.

Stonewolf Golf Club

Fairview Heights, IL

Stonewolf Golf Club is an 18-hole public course in Fairview Heights, Illinois, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1996-97. It is one of only four Jack Nicklaus Signature courses across Illinois and Missouri, playing to a par of 72 across roughly 6,864 yards with Zoysia fairways and greens. Located about fifteen minutes from the St. Louis Arch, the course draws golfers from the St. Louis metropolitan area. Stonewolf's routing reflects Nicklaus's signature strategic design approach.
