Devils Head Golf Resort

Devil's Head Resort is located in Sauk County, Wisconsin, near Merrimac, with golf holes carved into the glacier-formed terrain of the Baraboo Bluffs. The resort operates two 18-hole courses, the Glacier and the Prairie Glen, alongside its ski and lodging facilities. Both courses were designed by architect Art Johnson. The Glacier Course opened in 1971 as the resort's original layout, winding through elevation changes, narrow fairways, rock outcroppings, and water hazards on several holes. The Prairie Glen Course was added later as a second 18-hole layout featuring an island green and additional water features. Devil's Head is a resort facility open to the public as well as overnight guests, with golf and lodging packages available, including unlimited-golf options. The courses operate seasonally from April through October and include practice facilities for guests preparing for their round.
