Avery Ranch Golf Club

Austin, TX

Avery Ranch Golf Club is a public course in north Austin, Texas, built within the Avery Ranch residential community along Brushy Creek. The rocky Hill Country terrain required blasting during construction on several holes. The course was designed by Andy Raugust, a former associate at Nicklaus Design, and opened in 2002. It plays to a par of 72 over roughly 7,121 yards from the back tees, with oak-lined fairways, a 60-acre lake and a closing par-4 18th that runs alongside the water. Avery Ranch offers five sets of tees, Tif Eagle greens and Bermuda fairways and tees, along with a clubhouse and daily-fee public play.
