Sanford Country Club

Sanford, ME

Sanford Country Club dates to 1926, when Alex Chisholm designed the original course in Sanford, a layout that expanded from nine to eighteen holes in 1996. The par-72 course now stretches to roughly 6,700 yards and has hosted significant competition, including U. S. Amateur qualifying and the Maine Amateur Championship. Public with membership options, the club sits close to Kennebunkport, Wells and the New Hampshire seacoast, making it a convenient round for visitors. Its history spans nearly a century of continuous play in southern Maine.
